Atlanta, GA – 2/8/17 – Agrisource Data is excited to announce the launch of WxTrack™ Version 2, their micro-weather station monitoring system that helps clients accurately monitor the weather in their area. This new station is available using any of three (3) different communications protocols: RPMA, LoRa, or cellular.
WxTrack™ Version 2 launches February 15, 2017.
This new version of WxTrack™ adds monitors for temperature inversions to the other important parameters including solar radiation, sunshine hours, air temperature, dew point, atmospheric pressure, soil moisture, and rainfall. This weather station works in conjunction with many other different sensors and data sources from Agrisource Data, such as IntelliRoot™ for soil moisture monitoring, IntelliFlood™ sensors for canal and surface water monitoring, as well as satellite, drone and aerial imagery. These combined with the Agrisource Data multi-layer analytics platform provide a complete picture and allow the orchestrated management of water, nutrients and pest management for the agriculture industry.
Agrisource Data CEO, Ben Worley, says of WxTrack ™ Version 2, “Precise knowledge from these weather stations can help drive significant improvements in the crops. Having this data contribute to the analytics and machine learning will help determine the exact water requirements of the client’s specific crops and helping to irrigate more efficiently and effectively.”
